Getting Started
Try without uploading
Open the App → tap Try demo on Home to explore sample flashcards and a full summary.
Upload a lecture
Tap Upload PDF on Home and select a text-based medical lecture or textbook PDF (scanned photo PDFs may fail).
Or start from a topic
Tap AI Topic and enter any medical subject — AI builds a study pack without a PDF.
How long does processing take?
Usually 1–3 minutes depending on PDF length.
Review, MCQ & AI Exam
Spaced repetition
Use the Review tab or Start review on Home. Rate cards Again, Hard, Good, or Easy.
MCQ drills
Open a study pack → Practice Qs to generate USMLE-style multiple-choice questions from your lectures and check your answers.
AI Exam
From Review, start an AI Exam: write your answers and AI grades them against your own uploaded lectures (requires a free account).
Edit or delete
Open a study pack → edit or delete flashcards; delete entire lectures from Home or Library.
Export to Anki
Open a study pack menu → Export for Anki (CSV).
Textbook Q&A
What is it?
Upload a medical textbook PDF and open it → tap Q&A to ask questions. AI answers with chapter and page references you can verify.
Limits
Textbook Q&A is a Pro / Dev Partner feature with a monthly question quota (Free: not available).
AI Topic
Generate from any topic
On Home or Library, tap AI Topic, enter a medical subject, and AI builds a full study pack — no PDF needed. This uses one upload credit.
Memory Space
What is it?
The Memory Space tab is your personal study cockpit: review your wrong-answer cards (错题本), saved favorites (收藏夹), and track per-subject mastery and coverage at a glance.
Wrong cards
Cards you rated Again or Hard are collected here so you can re-focus on what you keep missing.
Favorites
Star any flashcard in a study pack to pin it to Favorites for quick daily review.
Coverage & mastery
See how many of your subjects you have covered and your average mastery %, updated as you review.
MedStudy Pro
What is Pro?
6 PDF uploads per month, up to 150 flashcards per pack, full AI summaries, Textbook Q&A, AI Exam, and expanded Memory Space.
Restore purchases
Profile → Restore purchases (use the same Apple ID you subscribed with).
Cancel subscription
iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → MedStudy Flashcards.
Account
Delete account
Profile → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, uploads, and flashcards.
