Getting Started
Try without uploading
Open the App → tap Try demo on Home to explore 12 sample flashcards and a full summary.
Upload a lecture
Tap Upload PDF on Home and select a text-based medical lecture PDF (scanned photo PDFs may fail).
How long does processing take?
Usually 1–3 minutes depending on PDF length.
Review & Study Packs
Spaced repetition
Use the Review tab or Start review on Home. Rate cards Again, Hard, Good, or Easy.
Edit or delete
Open a study pack → edit or delete flashcards; delete entire lectures from Home or Library.
Export to Anki
Open a study pack menu → Export for Anki (CSV).
Memory Space
What is it?
The Memory tab lets you build personal knowledge networks — concepts linked by causes, treatments, mechanisms, or your own custom labels.
Multiple spaces
Create separate networks per subject (e.g. Renal, Step 1 CV). Free: 5 spaces, 30 concepts. Pro: 30 spaces, 500 concepts.
Network map
Drag nodes to arrange your map, switch backgrounds, and tap links for details. Layout is saved on your device.
Custom links
When adding a manual link, pick a preset type or write your own relationship label (up to 40 characters).
AI link suggestions
Pro includes more monthly AI suggestions. Manual links and map editing are always free within your concept limits.
MedStudy Pro
What is Pro?
6 PDF uploads per month, up to 150 flashcards per pack, full AI summaries, and expanded Memory Space (30 spaces · 500 concepts · 60 AI link suggestions/month).
Restore purchases
Profile → Restore purchases (use the same Apple ID you subscribed with).
Cancel subscription
iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → MedStudy Flashcards.
Account
Delete account
Profile → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, uploads, and flashcards.
